All you have to do is use your "dope book", which is a book of ballistic data that you keep track of yourself using the rounds you’ve put downrange with your platform. Zero the rifle for the first caliber at whatever range you want, just like you normally would. Then you "zero" your scope elevation adjustment knob. Switch barrels. When zeroing for the 2nd caliber, keep track of your MOA adjustments, when you have it zeroed at whatever range you want you write down how many MOA clicks you had to adjust. That way when you switch back to the first caliber used all you have to do is return the elevation turret to its zero point and you’ll be back to being zeroed for the first caliber, when you switch to the 2nd all you have to do is turn the turret however many MOA clicks you noted in your dope book. Do the same for windage adjustments and you’ll be set. Pointless?? Not at all, try lugging around two different weapon platforms compared to this system

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you change the Barrels out doesn't it change your point of impact? you gotta re-Zero for each barrel and adjust for each different caliber making the barrel change feature kind of pointless

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

Is there anyway to get in a semi-auto? Because, I've been thinking of something like this in a .308 or 7.62x54r (big fan of the Russians) semi-auto for a scout.

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

I like this gun but like always when its to good to be true then reality isnt what they advertise ...I got one of these guns it was a SRS 338LM the weight was impresive but it misfired 25% of the time and the magazine got stuck and wouldn't release and sometimes the bolt gets stuck so you cant even shoot the gun...I like this gun if it was built with better Quality.....also after fireing it 100 or so times it has a crack on the frame of the gun and the stock panel brakes way to easy its a plastic metal gun that will brake if you drop it five feet from the ground

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

is there any way to convert this into a semi-automatic sniper rifle?

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

Did you get a clue yet? Your caliber choices prove to me you are a keyboard commando with no clue what is operationally needed or wanted. If you cant track that 338 win mag, 300wsm, 243 wssm were not asked for.... Get the facts? Did you read the PSR solicitation? Its sitting on my desk. 338 win mag superior? Keep being a keyboard commando believing all you read on the internet. Have you ever even seen a 338LM in real life let alone fired one? I think not.

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

This is a great rifle with well thought out ideas. Great work Mr Young. Can I trade my beloved Weatherby TRR in on this?

The 243WSSM was a total waste of time. The 338 Lapua will be the next standard in long range shooting for years to come. Its performance is far superior than anything else on the market. I think the next best is the 243 with the 115grain projectiles.

These two cartridges should be the military norm.

Re: Desert Tactical Arms Stealth Recon Scout Modular/Multi-Caliber Bullpup Anti-Materiel/Sniper Rifle for Military Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Civilian Tactical Shooters

YOU SHOULD GET THE FACTS ,STUPID .LEARN HOW TO SPELL. But,the waste of time and money ever developing the 338LM only wasted your time .You should of done more research. The 338 win mag performs just as good if not better than the 338LM. And you should make that weapon in the 300 WSSM and 243 WSSM then you could start something that should have been started 6/7 years ago and use bullet tech to it's max,and the hell with cool sounding names does not impress me ,facts and performance dones.I,ll be waiting, keep up the good work........
